Installation
Data Bridge Pro is a Microsoft Excel add-in that installs directly into your Excel ribbon. Installation takes less than 2 minutes and requires no administrator privileges.
System Requirements
- Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11
- Microsoft Excel: Excel 2016, 2019, 2021, or Microsoft 365
- .NET Framework: 4.7.2 or later (usually pre-installed on Windows 10+)
- Memory: 4GB RAM minimum, 8GB recommended
- Disk Space: 50MB for installation
Installation Steps
- Download the installer
Download from your account dashboard or the link in your welcome email. - Run the installer
Double-clickDataBridgePro-Setup.exe. If prompted by Windows Defender, click "More info" then "Run anyway". - Accept the license
Read and accept the End User License Agreement. - Install
Click "Install" to begin. This typically takes 30-60 seconds. - Launch Excel
Open Excel. You should see a new "Data Bridge" tab in your ribbon.
✓ No admin rights required! Data Bridge Pro installs to your user profile, so you don't need IT help or elevated privileges.
Activating Your License
- Click the Data Bridge tab in the ribbon
- Click Activate License
- Enter your license key (found in your welcome email)
- Click Activate
Trial Mode: Data Bridge Pro works for 14 days without a license key, with a limit of 1,000 rows per query.
Troubleshooting Installation
- Add-in doesn't appear: Close all Excel windows, wait 10 seconds, reopen Excel.
- "Unknown Publisher" warning: Click "More info" → "Run anyway".
- .NET error: Download and install .NET Framework 4.7.2.
